e-governance for the entire state of West Bengal.
Webel's prime task now, however, is to create
world-class infrastructure and facilities, encourage
entrepreneurship, and establish the institutions that
will spearhead the future. Now approximately 300 IT
companies now operate from West Bengal out of which 50
are major players.
